My reward for a terrible day...

Ugh, this has been quite a week. I don't know why, maybe it's because I have literally had an infant attached to me for 2 1/2 months, but I've been having a hard time with the kids this week. Ashton teases us now and then by sleeping through the night, so when he's up all night it hits me hard. Plus Eleda seems to have given up her nap (she only has it about once a week) and Alan has been out almost every night... mommy hasn't gotten a break.


Anyways, this morning Ashton was crying non-stop which seems to be the norm. I opened his diaper an within moments he peed AND pooped on me... and then moments later as I was getting him undressed, he spat up on me. It was super.


So I got him cleaned up, and as I was about to head to the bedroom for fresh clothes (for both of us) the light totally hit his eyes and I grabbed the camera. My little guy hasn't been much of a smiler, probably because he's too busy crying. I guess it was my lucky day...

That's right... our first smile caught on camera!!!

Oh, and I've clearly proven my worthiness... Eleda is actually napping!
