Autumn fun at the farm

We enjoyed a day at Ferguson's during their pumpkin festival, and then I went home and got to know my photo editing software a little better. This day was also my first really trying to shoot on my camera's manual setting (not by choice - my lens was stuck on manual focus and I couldn't figure that out, so the only way to get any kind of decent shot was on the manual setting).

A good example of focal B&W:

This is the first time Eleda ever got her face painted. She was so excited and sat very still while the pumpkin was painted - there were even sparkles on the black parts!
I over saturated the colour on this shot and blurred the edges a little:
And here I under saturated the colur.

After trudging through several inches of mud in the corn maze with daddy, we waited to ride the horse drawn wagon.

Daddy holding his little angel's hand on the wagon ride.
I'm in love with this shot. Something about the movement in her hair, the way the sunlight is hitting her face and those gorgous baby blues just makes this one speak to me.
