Apparently I'm a blogger?

Who knew!

Well here I am trying to document some of our lives for those who are interested in following (hi mom!). I am not going to commit to a post every day. I have a 2 1/2 year old and a newborn and I know my limitations :) I'm going to aim for a post every week with the photos taken that week and hope for the best.

My passion for photography was born at my BFF's wedding. I had a super low budget digital camera, but still managed to take a few nice pics of her big day that I was really proud of. Everything changed with the birth of my daughter... I think she saw through a flash spot for the first year of her life! That little girl is my muse, and with those beautiful blue eyes, how could she not be!

After noticing my eye for photography, my awesome dad bought me a great DSLR camera and I have had a great time snapping away. I still have A LOT to learn about both my camera and photography in general, but I'm enjoying the journey.

Today I had the genius idea of setting up a "photo shoot" of the kids. I had planned to do this when my hubby was home, but the urge struck, so there you go. The baby was screaming and Eleda just wanted to jump on the bed, but I did end up with a few respectable shots.
