Lemmiwinks

Today I'm a little sad. Back before we got married, my husband worked crazy shifts and I was on my own a lot. Eventually I told him I was going to either need a cat or a baby to keep me company! Timing was right, and we got a call from a friend of ours whose sister needed to find a home for her cat, so we got our Lemmiwinks (or Lemmi, Lem, Lemon... she had a lot of nicknames).

She has been a lovely member of our family, but especially since Ashton's arrival, she hasn't been getting the attention she deserves, and adding the care of a pet on top of care for 2 children proved to be too much for us.

We were able to find her a new home where she will be able to get lots of love. I'm very happy for her, but also very sad to say goodbye to my little Lemmikins.
